I gave 3 packs of baseball cards to my friends. Each friend got 1/3 of a pack. How many friends got baseball cards

Alright, so we want to know how many times 1/3 goes into 3 to see how many friends got cards. To do that, we divide 3 by 1/3, getting 3/(1/3)=(3/1)/(1/3)=
(3/1)*(3/1)=9 friends
