What happened to Greek democratic practices when Philip of Macedonia conquered Greece

Basically, Philip wanted an absolute rule, and he practically has ended democracy in Greece. He forced most of the city-states (notably the decomocratic Athens but not Sparta) to join into the League of Corinth with him, which he lead.
