Composite functions

Given the following functions expressed as

f(x) = 3x² + 5

g(x) = x - 2

In order to determine the value of (fg)x, we will take the product of the functions as shown

f(x)g(x) = 3x²+5)(x-2)

Expand to have;

f(x)g(x) = 3x³ - 6x² + 5x - 10

Hence the product of the functions is 3x³ - 6x² + 5x - 10
